International Friendship Connection (IFC) is a local Christian friendship organization formed to befriend international students and visiting scholars during their time of study in Southern California.
We offer:
* Transportation from Los Angeles and Ontario International Airports
* A friendly American family
* Help in finding your way around the city
* Shopping trips
* Cultural and family events during the school year
* Informal Christian-based gatherings
* Recreational events: sailing, beach trips, desert trips, sight-seeing, and MORE!
Each Friday evening, a very multi-national group of international students and scholars meet at 7:00 pm in the Shu’s home for a home-cooked meal, fun conversation, singing and a lively discussion/study on a range of issues relating to life, living and God.
If you are an international student, please join us! If you are interested in volunteering to help, we encourage your involvement! We’ll be having a training on being a friendship family, Sunday, September 18 at 1:00 pm in Room M201.
